Yacht for charter
PERSEVERANCE 1 is a Baltic Yachts sailing yacht built in 2021, designed by Dykstra Naval Architects and registered in Valletta. At 39.6 metres with a carbon hull, she is one of the more serious performance sailing yachts available for charter. The Dykstra design delivers what a hull of this specification promises: responsive, efficient passage-making with low emissions and quiet motion, backed by electric/hybrid propulsion for silent cruising and integrated power regeneration underway. Smart cabin systems minimise power use when unoccupied, and the whole boat is managed with a coherence that distinguishes a purpose-built performance yacht from one that has simply added eco features. She has won Sailing Yacht of the Year, Best Naval Architecture and an Eco Award, among other industry recognition.
A crew of five runs her at the level the yacht requires and the passages deserve.

On deck, the sailing cockpit is sized for guests who want to be part of the passage rather than just passengers. The aft cockpit areas give space for dining and relaxing between watches, and the deckhouse connects the two without breaking the flow of the boat.
Two Sublue underwater scooters, two Mares dive kits and an onboard dive compressor make PERSEVERANCE 1 as capable below the surface as above it. A TIWAL 3 small sailboat, a two-person kayak, two Jobe Yarra inflatable paddleboards, a Jobe Vanity wakeboard and a Jobe Mode Combo waterski complete the water offering. The tender is a Williams 5.2m Diesel Jet.

MOTORIZATION
Danfoss Editron PM electric motor with a power output of 280 kW. A key feature of this system is its ability to operate in silent mode for long periods using a large bank of lithium-ion batteries. Furthermore the electric motor acts as a hydro-generator to recharge the batteries by free-wheeling the propeller while sailing. Two Volvo D7TA diesel generators each providing 120 kW of power. These generators are IMO Tier III compliant low-emission units and are PLC-controlled to ensure optimal loading for efficiency and lower emissions. They can fully charge the battery bank in about 4.5 hours. |
