SEABISCUIT is a 41-metre high-performance aluminium sailing schooner built in 2005 by Holland Jachtbouw to a Hoek Design brief that was, from the beginning, about sailing rather than resembling sailing. Her neoclassical schooner lines are Hoek's, and so is the engineering beneath them: a high aspect ratio lifting keel with a spade rudder, a structure refined through wind tunnel testing and Velocity Prediction Program optimisation, and a keel pin system that closes the hull opening in the lowered position with the kind of mechanical elegance that wins awards. It has won awards. SEABISCUIT took the ShowBoats International prize for technical performance, the 2007 SNB-MDY Award for technical innovation and yacht design, the St Barths Bucket in 2012 and her class at the inaugural Cyclades Cup in 2024.

On deck, 2 Seabob F5S and a Bombard tender with a Yamaha F60 outboard handle the water sports and shore runs, leaving the rest of the focus where it belongs: on a schooner that has proven, repeatedly and in competitive company, that she is one of the fastest and most technically accomplished yachts of her type.
