MOONLIGHT is a Sunseeker 88 built in 2021, registered in Valletta under a Maltese flag and based in the Balearics. At just over twenty-six metres she shares her hull with JUNIOR in the fleet but is a year older and carries a different character: where JUNIOR is set up for maximum deck programming, MOONLIGHT is composed and unhurried, a boat that suits families and groups who want the Balearics at an easy pace rather than a full itinerary. Starlink satellite internet, stabilisers both underway and at anchor, watermakers and an outdoor sound system are all aboard.
A crew of four looks after eight guests with the attentive, relaxed service the boat suits.
read moreFour cabins sleep eight guests: a full-beam master amidships on the lower deck with a 65-inch Samsung Smart Frame, a VIP cabin forward, also with a 65-inch Smart Frame, and two convertible twin cabins with 35-inch Samsung TVs, all en-suite. A day head on the main deck adds comfort during the day. The saloon has a 65-inch TV, panoramic windows and a formal dining area for eight. SONOS Bluetooth speakers run throughout every area of the boat. Sunshade covers are fitted for both the flybridge aft and the forward seating area, extending the usable deck time in the Mediterranean afternoon. Bathroom amenities are provided for all guests.
The flybridge is wide and well-appointed, with dining, seating and sunpads spread across it. Below, the beach club sits close to the water and is the natural place to be at anchor: for swimming, for reading, or simply for watching the colour of the sea. The foredeck offers a quieter alternative at the other end of the boat.
A Seabob FX5, two SUPs, water skis, a Fliteboard E-Foil, a Super Hot Dog inflatable for three, snorkelling equipment for eight and a Williams 435 Jet Tender Black Edition with 125hp complete the offering.
MOONLIGHT is a 2021 Sunseeker that does exactly what a Balearics charter should: it gets out of the way and lets the setting do the work.
