Porto Venere is the smallest of the municipalities in the province of La Spezia and one of the oldest in Liguria. The charming town is renowned for its waters and urban structure dating to the fifth century b.C.
Lying opposite the islet of Palmaria, Portovenere – one of Liguria’s oldest and most charming towns – is located in the enchanting Bay of Poets. Dock at Portovenere Marina or at Le Grazie, an exclusive terminal fully equipped to accommodate luxury boats on their Liguria charters.
After the compulsory romantic walk down the old alleys of the fishing village, visit the Church of San Lorenzo, or the Church of San Pietro, rising on a steep cliffside. Liguria on a charter: Palmaria
Not far from Portovenere is another tiny enchanted spot: Palmaria, a rocky islet carpeted with Mediterranean vegetation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site popular with luxury charters in Liguria. Secco and Fornace di Portovenere are two of its better-known beaches. A unique location attracting snorkelers and divers, Palmaria boasts dreamy waters with underwater landscapes resembling open-air gardens.
