1day

La Spezia
Your Liguria itinerary starts in La Spezia, a city deeply deeply rooted in the history of the sea and shipping industry. For historically interested charter guests, we recommend visiting the Naval Museum as well as the Castle of San Giorgio. The latter overlooks the city of Spezia and features its stunning archaeological collection. Also make sure to taste mes-ciua, a cereal soup, that is a regional speciality.

2day

Bocca di Magra
Next, head in the direction of Bocca di Magra, a city known for being the meeting place of famous artists and writers. While the likes of Montale, Einaudi, Pavese and Vittorini made this their summer residence, its even better to visit Bocca die Magra by boat. Many of its small islets, hidden coves and out-of-sight beaches are only accessible by water, which makes it such a popular yacht charter destination. This is the ideal stop on a Liguria yacht charter itinerary  for everyone looking for a peaceful getaway in beautiful surroundings.

3day

Erice
On the third day of this itinerary, your yacht will cruise to Erice, a lovely village surrounded by picturesque landscapes. With an ancient castle throwning above the bay and old city walls still surrounding the historic town center, the beauty of Erice inspired many artists throughout history. Moore in the Gulf of Poets for a perfect view of the sun setting in the evening and don’t forget to pay a visit to Chapel of St. Anastasia and the hexagonal tower.

4day

Portovenere
On the fourth day of your yacht charter, head to Portovenere, another picturesque seaside town. Dating back to Roman period and overlooking emerald waters, it is framed by the  three charming islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. Portovenere also houses the 12th century church of St Peter, featuring an iconic black and white facade. Located on a promontory, the church is best reached by taking a walk along Byron cave, Doria castle and the church of St. Lawrence. We recommend you to stay in town for dinner and enjoy fresh fish on the calata.

5day

Riomaggiore
Another amazing place along a Cinque Terre yacht charter itinerary  is Riomaggiore. Cruise or sail here on the fifth day of your yacht charter and start the day by enjoying a walk through its old town. As typical for Liguira, Riomaggiore’s hillsides are closely-peppered with houses in bright colors. Near the small beach of Fossola, set on the Torre Guardiola trail, which features a clear view up and down the coast in a rich, natural surrounding. Finally, couples cannot miss the famous Love Road, a picturesque path that begins in Riomaggiore and leads to Manarola, the next village of the Cinque Terre.

6day

Comiglia
On the sixth day of your Cinque Terre boat charter you get to Corniglia where a long and spectacular  cliff connects the nearby town with a staircase of 365 steps – as many as a year has days. The ancient village is very charming and features many picturesque, well-preserved stone houses. A terrace is is the last point of the village and overlooks the entire sea as well as the ancient valley of the mills. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on Guvano beach and enjoy an invigorating swim in the sea. Should you visit Comiglia in May, do not miss legendary local festivities, such as Stappamaggio. This local festival is also called the feast of Sciacchetrà, which is a famous, regional wine.

7day

Vernazza
Next, your Liguria yacht charter itinerary takes you to Vernazza, a town that consists of a complex web of alleys and steep staircases. Go ashore and stroll over the town square, where you will also find a church dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch. Alternatively, we can recommend a visit to the castle on the other side of town.

8day

Monterosso
You will reach Monterosso on the eighth day of sailing Cinque Terre. Formerly just a small fishing village, Monterosso features a beautiful old town as well as astonishing nature, which is part of the Cinque Terre National Park. Take a walk through Monterosso’s narrow streets and don’t forget to stop in one of the local wineries for a glass of glass of Sciacchetrà. In the afternoon, take a stroll to the Convent of the Capuchin Friars, from which you also get a great view above the coastline and sea.

9day

Levanto
Levanto is an agricultural village, also called the gateway to the Cinque Terre. The Spiaggia Levanto is one of the largest beaches in the area and has become so popular with surfers that it now boasts a designated surfing area. On the cultural side, you will find the church of St Andrew, a medieval lodge, the ancient fortress surrounding the village as well as Levante’s famous clock tower. Before going back aboard your charter yacht, try the famous fried ravioli called gattafin  and stock up on local olive oil.

10day

Bonassola
On the tenth day of your Liguria itinerary navigate to Bonassola, one of the most picturesque towns on the Ligurian coast.
