Comiglia
On the sixth day of your Cinque Terre boat charter you get to Corniglia where a long and spectacular cliff connects the nearby town with a staircase of 365 steps – as many as a year has days. The ancient village is very charming and features many picturesque, well-preserved stone houses. A terrace is is the last point of the village and overlooks the entire sea as well as the ancient valley of the mills. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on Guvano beach and enjoy an invigorating swim in the sea. Should you visit Comiglia in May, do not miss legendary local festivities, such as Stappamaggio. This local festival is also called the feast of Sciacchetrà, which is a famous, regional wine.

Vernazza
Next, your Liguria yacht charter itinerary takes you to Vernazza, a town that consists of a complex web of alleys and steep staircases. Go ashore and stroll over the town square, where you will also find a church dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch. Alternatively, we can recommend a visit to the castle on the other side of town.

Monterosso
You will reach Monterosso on the eighth day of sailing Cinque Terre. Formerly just a small fishing village, Monterosso features a beautiful old town as well as astonishing nature, which is part of the Cinque Terre National Park. Take a walk through Monterosso’s narrow streets and don’t forget to stop in one of the local wineries for a glass of glass of Sciacchetrà. In the afternoon, take a stroll to the Convent of the Capuchin Friars, from which you also get a great view above the coastline and sea.

Levanto
Levanto is an agricultural village, also called the gateway to the Cinque Terre. The Spiaggia Levanto is one of the largest beaches in the area and has become so popular with surfers that it now boasts a designated surfing area. On the cultural side, you will find the church of St Andrew, a medieval lodge, the ancient fortress surrounding the village as well as Levante’s famous clock tower. Before going back aboard your charter yacht, try the famous fried ravioli called gattafin and stock up on local olive oil.

On the tenth day of your Liguria itinerary navigate to Bonassola, one of the most picturesque towns on the Ligurian coast. Discover the variety of local craft shops with which the alleys are filled, while exploring the old town. Additionally, Bonassola features a half-moon shaped bay that offers a well-equipped beach. Finally, explore the many spectacular bars and restaurants, perfect for a relaxing drink or for a romantic dinner by candlelight.
