Cannes Yachting Festival

Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the staples of yacht tourism, is held in September when crowds of enthusiasts flock to Cannes’s two ports to marvel at the world’s most exclusive vessels.

While visitors choose the perfect boat for a cruise to dreamy destinations, brokers hunt for the best products on the luxury market among elegant sailing vessels, motorboats, mega-yachts, and catamarans. Exhibitors, owners, and water sports enthusiasts intermingle in a flurry of parties, panels, and exclusive exhibitions. This luxury boat show is not to be missed.

The Festival kicks off the nautical season, boasting a consolidated success for exclusivity and admissions. Organized by Reed Exposition France with the support of the Féderation des Industries Nautiques, it showcases more than 500 luxury boats in the waters surrounding the Croisette and ashore, at Le Vieux Port and Le Port Pierre Canto.

The main area, located in Le Vieux Port, hosts a complete exhibition of the most innovative, modern, and equipped luxury yachts of every category.

The luxury boats exposed at the Palais des Festivals showcase the best choice of boat design and furniture on the market. There is a special “luxury mood” section, catering to visitors looking for inspiration for their next charter in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. Outside, the Water Toys area showcases an anticipation of what is new and trending.

The outdoor space features six thematic zones, with imperious vessels from 25 to 55 meters on display in the “Superyacht” area. The Vieux Port also has accommodation for visitors who reach Cannes aboard Silver Star’s luxury yacht charters. Other thematic zones feature catamarans and agile boats. Visitors also have the chance to get aboard and take boats out for exciting test-drives and sea trials.

Cannes Yacht Festival 2016 will feature the exclusive Terrasse on the roof of the Palais des Festivals, showcasing boats, designs, watchmakers, automobiles, private aviation, and luxury homes.

Everything yacht-related is the protagonist of one of the most exclusive events for stakeholders and fans of sailing. With more than 50000 expected visitors, and more than 500 boats and exhibitors, with lots of news and the best products yachting has to offer for length and category, Cannes Festival is the leading afloat boat show in the Mediterranean.
